You just may have seen some of the stuff before, I am way too lazy to go and check!!!! My feeling is it is always worth a second look.....hee hee

Starting with a fabulous Fabric Postcard-theme-BUD-- from my lovely friend Maggi,
isn't this just gorgeous, when you touch the bud it is like wax,
I have no idea how Maggi did this but oh I want to learn this technique,
thank you Maggi, you are an inspiration to me...
and just look what she sent me with the Postcard, I am so spoilt by lovely people...

I sent one of my fabric Postcards to Diane, and look, another super gift, a pot holder, Diane informs me it has THINSULATE inside so it will be fine for hot stuff,
thank you Diane, I love it...
Bat buttons, a gift from another lovely lady and I am sorry to say
I can't remember who it was right now, how bad is that...:-(
The lovely Tonya sent me these many moons ago, I keep getting them out and looking at them, their day for use will come...

Another gift from - argh must find out...
OOOO Just look at these beauties - Janice made these for me, I asked her to make them bigger than normal to try to contain my horrid swollen feet, and she has come up trumps, she has also made the top nice and loose for me as I cannot bear anything tight round my legs, these are sooo soft,  thank you so much Janice, these are perfect for me.  She takes orders you know, I will find her link for you...

I had got way behind with my journals which we decided to do on the 6th of each month, well the other night I thought, why am I trying to be clever with these, they are after all just a reminder for me of what I was doing on that day of each month, SO I decided to K.I.S.S.
this is 6 March 2012...
6 April 2012
6 May 2012
see - KISS - gets the job done every time...

Found this in a drawer, they were little triangles which had been lopped off from something or other and someone at my group challenged me to use them, well this is what I made with the little divils, you will see they don't meet very well in the corners, but what the heck? Any idea what I can use it for?
Oh my, that drawer threw this at me too, but I appear to be one short - again, any ideas what I can do with these, they are not joined together yet by the way...

Found this at the top of the wardrobe when I was having a tidy up in there. I made this sooo many years ago it is embarrassing, it never did fit me when it was finished so I have never worn it, and never likely to now. I ought to measure it to see what size it is as I would love to sell it, it would keep someone warm. Anyway this is the back...
the lining...
close up of front...
the front...
just thought this looked a nice pik...
Let me know if you are interested...

See that flash of RED it is my postie coming up the drive and I could see he was carrying a HUGE parcel, and it was for me....woo hoo...

Bought from the pound shop for me to use for embellishments...
and again - £1 -
ditto -

AHA
Can you guess what this is and what I am going to use it for???
Thanks for looking folks.

BAG MAKING and more

Made a few bags for a competition, I did get carried away slightly!!!! The competition is on the PP Forum, so I thought I best give it a go, but I said I would alter them slightly as is my wont!! Here we go...

Made of yellow satin covered with lemon voile
sequins trapped between the two and if you look close -
you may see a bat or two!!! This is the front view...
the base...

side view...
All I could change on this next bag is the quilting at the top of it,
pretty boring,
but it did get rid of some really ugly fabrics in that chenille part...
I have made this bag so many times, I feel I could
almost do it blind folded, good one to do though,
fabrics compliments of Margaret in France - thank you,
this is the outside...
and this is the inside,
two looks for one bag...
in the magazine this was made in denim from jeans,
I changed that to Velvet and silk...
free motion flowers on the back and front -
yes it is my logo I use...
this shows the silk inside, the button was from my button box...
I changed the geese for this bag,
I just quilted them instead of actually making geese...
again the fabric is compliments of Margaret in France,
thank you...
I changed this to a colourful bag as it was just black in the mag,
fabric compliments of Di, thank you...
I had enough to make two -
oh yes I put a little pocket on the front as well...
I originally was only going to make one bag but had put on the forum
I liked six of them and didn't know which to choose, and Caz said -
"Make all six"
Your wish is my command!!

I bought this gorgeous fabric off our market in the week...
close up of the Peacock..
close up of the Dragon...
Not sure what I will make with it yet, still drooling.

On the PP Forum we do lots of swaps
this is my Postcard with the theme of RUSSIA
from Katy...
and this is a postcard [card type] which she enclosed with one above,
isn't it great? Thanks for both Katy.

FINALLY, I got to grips with the challenge for MAY on the FMQ site. This month it was Leah Day as the tutor, she came up with these 'Foundational' patterns for us to do. As you know I am doing trees right through the year with the themes, and I got a bit stuck with these, but hope you think it looks like a tree!!!!
this is the front...
and this is the back...

Sometimes when you are feeling a bit down,
something takes your eye,
and immediately you feel better.
THIS did it for me.
