The lovely Sue. She has had so many operations I cannot begin to list them all,
now her hands are giving her cause for concern and has had ops on them which, sadly,
have gone a bit wrong, but she refuses to give up sewing...
GO SUE...
So here you see what we were making today, an advent calender for the adults,
although there are two children's ones in there...

she came for the day and loved it...
Showing the pockets, various interpretations of the layout...
Lois and Rebecca asking Suzanne a question, more of the ladies pockets...
A proud Lois showing what she has achieved today, she has not done this before and
I thought she did very well, considering she was new to the group and really
struggled with this fabric, there was a lot of gold in it and the needle kept hitting it and you know
as well as I that the gold bits can give you grief, but she stuck at it, as did Rebecca.
Rebecca and Lois decorated the tree...

Annette's Waterfall Quilt -
I love this Quilt...
Annette won on the Block Lotto a while back, she made more blocks,
added them to her winnings and this is the result - fabulous or what!
Our Joyce, ever the joker, bless her.
Well done Joyce for bringing a smile to everyone...
I had a lovely day, I hope the ladies did too. We wont be meeting now until February next year, if you would like to come along, do get in touch with me, you can do that via this Blog if you wish. I would love to have more people come, fresh faces bring fresh ideas.
Talking of fresh faces, it was wonderful having Lois at the meeting, the majority of the ladies passed very kind remarks to me about the two girls, [Rebecca and Lois], sitting sewing together. I would welcome more girls as long as they wish to sew, I am more than happy for them to come, if they just want to mess around, uh uh, not at my group.
Lois was sad to hear it was the final meeting of the year bless her. I wish it was next year now she said. Do you think I have a future Quilter in her, I believe I do.
A final picture for you, Rebecca finished her small advent hanging on the Sunday when she came to me, I did the binding for her and just look at this smile...
Well done Rebecca.
I will be putting more posts up later folks, trying to catch up.
