TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE

On the Popular Patchwork Forum someone put a jokey message about me and my Postcards, a little competition was set up - by me - for them to guess how many I have had sent to me, and how many I have made ready in my stash ready to send out. Here are pictures of said Postcards and the total at the end. Enjoy. This is the first box of Postcards SENT TO ME....

I laid them out on a table in their groups as far as possible...

I joined many groups to swap Postcards around the World, all the Postcards you will see are from groups I have been in or am still in...

Scrappy bits trapped under all sorts of stuff...

Various cards, the palm tree one is one I made as a template, I was asked to make these for someone who had a shop in Hawaii, I think I sent about 6, never heard if they sold...

Oh I quite like doing the Dragonfly ones too...
Ginkgo leaves...thread painted...
I saved and pressed some Hydrangea petals, dyed some of them, then made these Postcards...I will do this again with other flowers, they were fun to make...
Hubby pointed this out to me, so it is a duff one, can you see? The edge is coming away, the voile wasn't wide enough at the corner...reject....
the lovely Caz from the PP Forum sent me a chenille cutter and I played with it one day, made these two cards, they are very thick...
I made some of these this year for some of the neighbours, quick and easy to do...
and here we are up to date, I made these for fun as I love making the Firework cards, they are very time consuming, but hey, what else do I have to do???
This is a picture of the drawer I keep all my 'bits' for making Postcards in,
there are cards primed ready for use in here and pens for writing on them,
tiny scraps of fabric which 'do' for the Postcards too.
So there we are, all my Postcards, once again for you to see, and a lovely trip down Memory Lane for me of course, so what was the total?

What a great array of cards. It is fun to see them all. I even recognize a few of them. :)

One time my postman asked how many cards I had and then said, "no let me guess" He guessed and was only off by 15. He must have enjoyed them as much as me. :)
