LIKE THE SWEETS - ASSORTED

Don't you just love it when things come together. I think I have said that before just recently too. Well, never mind, I have just said it again. You will see why later down the page. On here I have swaps I have received and swaps I have sent out. I hope you like what you see and will leave a comment for me and others who read this. Here we go;
First off is a card received from Joan W, she and I were the only signups for this particular swap, which was APRIL FOOL's JOKEs. I think this is just brilliant don't you? Thanks Joan, I love it...
This is an ATC RAINBOW - BLUE, from Fiona. Thank you Fiona, especially as she knows now she should have sent it to someone else, but has told me I can keep this. Great cos it goes with the one I got from Ros, you have to go back a few posts to see what that was....
*******************************************************
Following are the ones I have sent out, the first being the ATC RAINBOW - BLUE which has gone to Jo, I can put it here cos she has received it, as have the others on here now, I added the little blue doll as a last minute thing, she looks as though she belongs with that quilt don't you think?
This was my 'WHATCHADOINGNOW' Postcard, we had to make a card with whatever we were doing at a certain time of day, I was, as you can see, behind the nets waiting for Rebecca to come home from school - if you look closely you can make Rebecca out as a little pink dot...
Here is my APRIL FOOL JOKE card for Joan W, I did the Spaghetti Tree joke which was just so funny, I even remember it, which is NOT so funny...
We did a TWINCHIES + INCHIES swap, you had to make a mixture of the T and I's to the size of a postcard [6x4], it was up to you how you did it and what you did. I had fun with my little charms I have been collecting for a while now -
This is how they should be laid out...
and when you flip them over in the same order, this is what it reads on the backs of them, they don't take that long to do and I find are quite fun to make, mind you this is the first time I have made Twinchies. I am hoping to do this swap again in the future...
We also had a swap where you had to use your Embellisher Machine, IF you didn't own one of those, you could use the hand-held thingy, does the same job but is slower, and much harder, so I for one appreciate all the hard work done by those who only have the hand thingy. I thoroughly enjoyed making this bag, it did take a while so I am showing off a bit here by putting so many pictures of it on here - sorry - but I am quite proud of this and the way it turned out. Anyway, I did it as a one piece, the picture is upsidedown at the bottom so when it is folded into a bag, it will be the right way up - hope you understand!!!
See, this is the front, and...
this is the back - or vice-versa...
here are the handles - they took a whole evening to make, then the next day I couldn't find them, they had fell into the bin...ARGH!!!!!! When I found them, I decided to put some big cross stitches onto them to 'spruce' them up a bit, I think it worked, I liked the effect...
I decided to use a piece of my sari silk for the lining of the bag, it was a pretty good match...
All done, lined and signed...
Here you go then, one finished bag - back view...
and front view...
Lastly, I forgot to tell you, this bag had to be 6" in size - here you go, just to prove it was 6"...
Well now, Suzanne came to see me the day I had finished this little bag, and fell in love with it. She wants me to make one for her exactly the same pattern - BUT - there is always a but isn't there, she wants it bigger, probably A4 size she thinks. I am OK with that as long as, and I told her this, she doesn't expect it next week!  Back to the Embellisher.
I have to say a BIG thank you here to Myfanwy, who, without the DVD's I would never have contemplated making this, but now, the World is my Oyster.
Another BIG thank you must also go to my friend Di, who introduced me to the Embellisher machine, then I guess I best say another to hubby for buying the machine for me; [hee hee I sound like one of those daft actresses who lists her family when accepting her OSCAR.]

Jan, Your embellished bag is beautiful, I'm afraid I cheated a bit with mine, it was the wrong size, and only the front panel was embellished!!

Those inchies and twinchies are great too, I will have a go next time, they look like a lot of fun.

I just love everything you make, and you achieve so much in so short a time....amazing!!
