I wish you all a very
I hope you get what you wish for;
Was out with hubby today and he picked up a bunch of red roses, I asked who they were for? He said they were for me! He ought to know better,

I don't really like flowers in the house, I don't know why this is, I just don't.
I told him to put them back.
I like pictures of flowers, and I love them in my garden.
I don't actually like RED roses very much,
I prefer ones like this.....

Isn't that just beautiful.
Oh, I also like Queen Elizabeth roses, the PINK variety, we have several in our front garden.

I do like flowers in the house although I prefer potted ones to cut unless Keith is giving me yellow roses which are my favorite!

Hi Jan,
Happy Valentine's Day!!
I do like roses, but they don't last long enought to suilt me when in a bouquet.
I have a miniature bush of pale coral ones just like your last picture. Actually I received that one last year in a pot.. It bloomed for 6 months and then I eventually transplanted it to the garden...
LOL

I love roses and I adore cut flowers, as you know(my favourites are daffodils). I have a beautiful climber in the garden which I hope will wend its way over the new arch. It is called Galway Bay and is deep, dark red. Almost velvety. Not too long until we see them all blooming again!! Mind you the snowdrops should be up even sooner (lovely sign of spring on its way).

Jan,
I'm just like you. I don't like flowers in the house. I think their scent can be a bit strong for me and they wilt in just a few days. I do love pictures of flowers and flowers growing outside. Your pictures are lovely.
Happy Valentine's Day

My reason for not liking them in the house, is because they always make my daughter sneeze and sneeze and sneeze, it just isn't fair to her. I much prefer them in the garden where they will last much longer. Thank you everyone for your thoughts on the flowers.
