MOTHERS DAY

A day to do what I like, when I like, how I like, IF I like. So....I did some dyeing, in the process I managed to end up with purple hands and nails....WHO forgot to put gloves on? Oh well, I like mauve! Bear in mind I had no idea what I was doing with the dyes, I have to get some information on how to do it properly, then you will see better results....I hope...
These were done using fabric paints, it made the scrim go very stiff, pretty though...

MOTHERS DAY GIFTS
Bookmark, Bobbin case and some yummy wool for my Embellisher from Annette...
Cards from the girls, Annette on left and Suzanne on right as you look at the screen...
Mock up of Ticket till the real one comes, from Annette this year...
Suzanne made me this shoulder bag - Front...
Back....
she also bought me a new travel iron, I like these for my patchwork instead of the large home iron...
 plus some lovely daffies...
Thank you girls, I have been spoilt once again, some super presents.

Looks like you had a good day Jan, lovely presents. If you don't like the hand of the scrim with paint the dyes work just as well.
