WHAT FUN I AM HAVING

If you had asked me last year would I be doing the following - AND ENJOYING IT - I would have said you were off your rocker! What a difference a year makes!!!!! You may have read about the disastrous class I went to for using the Embellishing machine! No further comment!!
Well, in a round about way I discovered Myfanwy Hart. Woohoo am I glad I did. Just look what I have achieved through her DVD. I am totally amazed at myself., and yes Di, I AM enjoying it. These are my samples from following the DVD on my new gadget hubby bought me at the weekend. A portable DVD player. WOOHOO indeed! These are not in the order I did them from the DVD, I have managed to muddle them up somehow. Oops! Not to worry, I am showing the fronts and the backs as the backs are somethimes very interesting - well, I think they are.
Off we go then..................
Swirls,
I love doing these - as you will see...

this is just joining wool together to make felt, no backing involved...

these two are raised, although you may not be able to see it on here -
trust me, they are...

this was using 'snippets' of threads...

and this was using snippets of fabrics...

I branched out then and tried a landscape -hubby likes this one...
I have a love of trees and always manage to get them in whatever it is I am doing...

So there we are - who would have thought it?
Thanks Di and Thank You Myfanwy.
Can't wait to get the next DVD

I hope the pictures and explanations are in the right order,
Blogger keeps messing me about....

Brilliant Jan. Now I need to get myself going.

Back to work today but not sure for how long as I really don't feel brilliant at all.

Excellent! The order doesn't matter at all. You are really branching out - and I love it!

Brilliant pieces Jan. Thank goodness your bad experience did not put you off. Just think what you would have missed (and us).

Great needle felting, Jan.
I love what you have done with the wool. Isn't needle felting fun? I have an attachment on my machine that allows me to do this. Although I don't get to do it as often as I would like. You know, not enough hours in the day.

These are brilliant Jan, you are very creative, and so talented too, what a great combination, you can't fail with that cocktail! I shall look forward to seeing what else you do with your new machine.
