BIG SMILE

Just look at that BIG SMILE.

Can you see the CUP? She is thrilled to bits. Each week the teacher chooses one pupil who has gone that extra mile with her dancing, and this week......DRUM ROLL please................It was our Rebecca.

Below are the two cards which are the latest theme for the PP Forum Postcard swap. The Statue is in the centre of town, it is recognition of Francis Crick, who helped develop DNA. My cards have the picture of the statue, DNA, done in red to depict blood samples, the blood cells are also done in red, the grey round the edge of the cards is the 'grey matter' dealt with by the scientists, and the DNA symbol is done in yellow with the molecules marked in coloured pens. I had great fun doing these cards. Thanks Katy. I can put these pictures here now because they have been received by the ladies.

It snowed pretty heavily last night, really thick snow met us in the morning!
Just look at the snowman Reb made with her mum.

Sadly, when they went in,
the lads near where they live thought it amusing to knock the head off!
Don't you just wish......................................

Love those DNA cards Jan, what a clever idea on those. I know just what it feels like to have your snowman destroyed. A couple years ago, while visiting relatives in North Carolina, it snowed so much that we were able to make a snowman. All evening my kids and I made a wonderful Snowlady in the front yard. The next day we found her body strewn all down the street. :(
The kids were sad, and I was so angry at the young teenagers who made my children sad. We mourned her a bit and then to make us feel better we decided to rebuild her. We took half of her bottom half, all that was really left of her, and rolled it into the backyard and built her up again. We also made her a hubby so she wouldn't be lonely. :)
