OMG girl.....you have a thread store all of your own....lol!

Question....what are the mesh things that you have around your thread cones to keep the thread from unraveling?

Hi Noel, I do use all the threads, honest. I seem to get through an awful lot of it. The mesh thread I got off some place on Ebay, yes it is to stop it unravelling, if you have a spool that is horizontal on your machine, you can leave it on as you sew, mine is upright. After buying them, I was told if you go into a chemist - pharmacist? for you, buy the finger protectors, it is like a long tube of bandage, it is cheaper and works just as well, let me know if you can't get it, and I will send you some.lol :-)
