WONDERFUL GIFTS

I have been so lucky once again, just look what the postman brought me this morning.
As soon as I saw the postmark I knew this was from my friend Elisabeth in Vienna.
Lots of things...
Yummy chocolates...

a very pretty Thimble, I have turned it to try to show you the design...

Gorgeous green fabrics...

two fabulous Art postcards, aren't they great...

now this had me guessing a while, will it you?

Did you guess what it was? No way will it be used for its purpose though,
I am thinking of framing it...

Thank you so much Elisabeth, you have been very naughty in sending me all these things, but I do love them all and thank you once again my friend.

This card is so pretty isn't it, inside was...

this very sparkly Red QTC from Sharon,
I took 2 pictures to try to show the sparkle...

thank you Sharon

Oh my this is one very tired Curli, he had just come back from
an extended walk, he flopped on the floor and zonked out...

Pete was cooking dinner and the saucepans woke him up, Ahhh....

I was taking pictures and I think the flash was annoying him,
I am sure he is saying - leave me alone -
he goes home tomorrow...

Who would have thought one of my girls would be a biker???

There she is on her new bike...

Get the posh helmet, do you know whose initials they are?

Shh Suzanne don't tell them, I will have a little competition here,

What do the initials stand for on Suzanne's new helmet?
A small prize to the winner
ALSO
How much was the Helmet? another small prize on offer...

and there she goes, I only just got her in the photo...

Be safe on your bike Suzanne

Hmmmmmm
This came today for me. I ordered it along with another book,
Sylvia's Bridal Sampler,
I have to tell you I am very disappointed with this book, I think the price is OTT,
yes I know the exchange rate is bad at the moment, but come on, there are
only 16 pages inside, AND it appears to be only one quilt done different colourways...

The other book didn't arrive, just a form to let me know it would arrive at the end of July.
I don't think so buddy, I cancelled it and Annette found it at Tesco for me,
£3 cheaper too.
You just never know do you?

Hi Jan,
That's a very smart bike Suzanne has there! Great while the sun is shining! No idea what VR stands for, but I reckon the helmet cost at least £250. That's more than my first motorbike and helmet cost me in 1976!!

Good for Suzanne!

You have had a lot of lovely post - lucky you indeed! :)

I saw the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler and was mighty tempted myself. Just checked out Tesco (never thought of there either!) but will look at Sandown first on Sunday. It would be a big change for me but a great challenge. :)

PS, I'm anonymous at the moment as google seems to have disowned me....:(

What great things you have received. Your daughter's bike is awesome, makes me very envious. The initials are, of course, the great Valentino Rossi. Helmet is probably between about £140 - £200 although there are some similar being advertised at £499. Maggi
