Do you remember the Quilt made for the Children's Society Charity? The draw has been made and I was sent an email this evening to say who had won what.

The one made by the 'gang' was won by MINKY.

The one made by Katy was won by JANE HENDERSON.

Well done to both these people for winning, and thank you for entering of course. I had hoped these would raise lots of money for the Charity, I believe the amount was around £200. A little disappointing I thought. I would like to thank ALL the people who DID buy tickets for these, much appreciated. The Charity will no doubt be pleased for whatever was raised.

Hi Jan, Thank you for organising this quilt and raffle. I really enjoyed being part of it. Hope the winners really enjoy their quilts! Organising a raffle, I have discovered, is not an easy thing to do, especially in difficult times. I wonder if people were reluctant to use the on-line raffle facility? Hope we can do it again. Hello Ros, Katy sorted the raffle part out for us, I didn't know where to start with that. Quilting - no problem.
I don't know what the problem was with buying tickets for these Quilts, I just think it was a shame they didn't raise more for the Charity. Oh well, better luck next time I guess.
Apparently this was a pre-test-run of a BIG raffle for the future. So we shall see.
I hope your Quilt raises lots of interest and dosh of course. :-) Jan
