HI HELEN

Hello Helen, glad you made it here, are you one of the Helen's from PP I wonder?

Here is my wonderful card I received from Helen, isn't it fabulous. I tell you these are some truly talented ladies.

I have asked all the ladies if they will give me permission to put all their postcards here for you to see, they are great, as some of them are the FIRST ever fabric postcard they have made. Amazing they are. I am waiting for the replies, as I type. May take a few days of course. Some ladies are not lazy like me, they have to work!!!!

Meanwhile......
What I have been playing at...

This is the inside.....

This is the outside......

This is what is inside......

Fronts and Backs ................................................Oops, a reject!

Couldn't stop making them..............................On and on I went...

Now I have stopped. I sent one to Tessa for her comments on these, as I hadn't made one before and wasn't sure I had them right. No, I haven't. Thank you Tessa, she has put me right on a few things I hadn't spotted :-(
So I will have another go as I did enjoy making them. They may look OK to you, but oops e do. Believe me they are not. If at first you don't succeed, try try try again.

Lovely journal covers - I'm sure carrying one of them around will inspire you to record lots of details and ideas that end up on quilts, postcards, etc! I am indeed from the PP site - Helen P to be precise. I'm very proud to have my (first) postcard on your blog - hope people like it! Love the blog and love your work!

Hello Helen P, thank you for your kind comments on the journals and blog in general. I am sure people love your card as much as I did receiving it. Your first one too. Great stuff. How do you improve on perfection?

You're too kind, Jan - think my first postcard was a fluke (or novice luck!). Looking forward to round two...just as soon as I recover from round one, that is!
