WORDLE

Felt I needed a bit of fun...
These are the words I use most frequently on my Blog - apparently!
The larger the print, the more that word is used.

Interesting!

HOORAY

It worked.

Phew!

Right, whilst it is in a good mood I will pop the other pictures up.

This is a plant Suzanne has bought for me, I cant wait for it to get to look like this
it is called Sidalcea - Party Girl...

This is a picture of an Acupuncture needle
I had 12 of these in my arms and neck whilst having the
treatment for my neck problems.
Fine until they were turned...
OUCH!

A QTC from Ann in Germany
a swap from Fabricards - it was for 9 things,
thank you Ann it is great...

A real surprise card I have received from KR in America
I used to belong to the same group as KR but left;
This is KR and myself, we were always the last two up late at night
chatting to each other.
I will be in touch again soon KR meantime
thank you for my lovely card...

Printing on Voile..
from Tessa, off the Popular Patchwork Forum,
very interesting this,
thank you Tessa...

So many things I have received of late, I really do consider myself extremely lucky.
I have met wonderful people since doing this Blog.
They have been so generous to me, and I really don't know why, but,
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

IN MY BOX FROM NOEL

I am very nervous about this post, I tried last night, three times to put these pictures here, but Blogger wouldn't let me, it keeps saying my HTML is not valid. I have no idea what that means. I have my fingers crossed, if it doesn't work tonight, you will hear me screaming.

The Box

All these things were inside...
Beads and Embellishments, a tray to hold things, a case for bits and bobs,
but--I don't know what the silver thing is for....

has been embellished too...

Pretty tin with very pretty lacy bits, which I just know,
Noel has dyed...

Box for Rebecca...

Patterns for dolls and butterfly brooches...

A very pretty white dish...

A fabulous Journal with a handy refill...

Fantastic Fabric...

Wrist warmers???

Handy portable file...

I am so lucky.
Thank you so much Noel.
You have been so generous to me and the postage was horrendous.
I do hope this is going to behave and post

Please let me know what the things are that I am not sure of.

NEW FLOOR AT LAST

The great day has arrived, my new floor is being laid today.
Annette came and did an enormous amount of moving for me,
I am just so grateful to her.
I hope I have these pictures in the right order...
This is before...

Grotty carpet....

I emptied this bookcase and put everything into carrier bags...

Masses of them...

It made it easier to move the stuff and hopefully!
I would remember what went where on the return journey...

Stuff got piled everywhere...

So much stuff...

One empty corner...

Into the bedroom...

loads of it went...

Stacks of it on the bed...

Cant get in there now...

Into the front room went the bookcases...

and my sewing table, Annette placed loads of books
under the table...

Quilts got put on the settee...

Hope no-one comes, that's the front door...

My white unit holding the tools for the day...

The bed was 'groaning' with stuff...

Even the window sills got used...

Clear room - well floor...
Carpet - you are soon to be history...

Oi! What you doing?

Can you believe it,
she found a book with a pattern she was looking for...

Ta da...

The NEW FLOORING

Aren't I smart now.
Big smile on my face.
Just got to put everything back now.
Actually, Annette and Pete put it all back,
I just have to put it all in the right places.
Hope you like my new floor - I do.
Thank you Pete,
Thank you Annette.

SUZANNE, SHRUBS and REBECCA

MY SUZANNE

Here is a picture of my other daughter - Suzanne - she had to do a stint on the market square for her work. They had a great day, managed to sign up 45 new supporters.
Well done Suzanne and team.
Suzanne is the one on the far left, with the ponytail over her shoulder.

A PRUNING TALE

I'm a bit late posting these pictures but we have been busy...
Hubby said he was going to 'prune' the shrubs on the front garden;
OK
I spied on him through the curtains, as you do...
What is that he is picking up?

O o I don't like what I am seeing...

Much scratching of head...

Now these, are what you usually use to prune with...

Good grief, where have my shrubs gone?
He used the hedge cutters...
Oh yes he did!

Everything got 'the treatment'...

My Bluebells escaped thank goodness...

New plants fattening up for the garden.

REBECCA's Pictures

Rebecca took these pictures of a box her Auntie Suzanne bought her,
she wanted everyone to see she uses it for her Bratz baby doll.
Open...

Closed...

The money on the floor was her reward for doing so well with her spellings,
28 / 29
She had of course been on holiday for two weeks, otherwise I'm sure it would have been 29/29
Well done Rebecca.
