Popular Patchwork Forum ran a competition for Quillo's,
I entered as I had a couple laying around
- as you do -
I didn't win the competition,
but Angela did - Congratulations Angela,
you have to visit her Blog to see her winning Quillo.
You will see she is one very talented lady,
make a cup of tea
and take your time
viewing her work.

These are the ones I entered...

The names of the blocks are quilted in the vermicelli quilting at
the sides of each of the blocks...

I called this -
'There is always one'
as the very last flying geese block is the wrong way,
can you spot it?

It is great on the Popular Patchwork Forum, Katy keeps coming up with lots of competitions for us to enter, to keep us on our toes, and you know what they say.....
You have to be in it to win it.
Why not pop along and join the Web page now, it is very easy to do.
All are welcome.

awww...sorry you didn't win Jan, I think yours are so much nicer than mine! I particularly like the colours in the pink one.

Thanks for the link to my blog - you're too kind - you'll win next time I'm sure :o)

The quillow is lovely and the pink sets off the block so well.

Thanks girls for you comments. I keep meaning to make my elder daughter a quillo for her car, just in case it breaks down and its cold. On my list of 'things to do' ;-)
