GIVE AWAY AT LAST

Here at last, is a picture of the give aways I am offering for my 350th posting. I do hope you can see what they are.

They are Tote bags that fold away into a pocket so you can keep it handy in your handbag/pocket whatever. It is just my little thing for our planet, trying to rid us of those plastic carriers that are everywhere.

I have made 4 of them as I hope you can see from the picture, 2 of them are open and the other two are what they will look like when folded away into their pocket.

So what to do... just post a comment here and then I'll put the names in a hat and get my GD to pick the winners out. I'll leave it open until 16th October. Hope that is OK with everyone. I think that is straightforward enough. Good luck - that is if you wish to enter of course!!

Hi Jackie,
I too am glad you found me and that you are now officially entered into my little giveaway. Totally my pleasure.
I know, 350, good grief can I natter!! Hubby has always said I could talk the hind legs off a donkey. If he saw this lot he would know it to be true. hahahahaha :-)

love the totes, did you make them? I have plans to make some similar ones as Christmas gifts.

jan said...

Hi Sue,
Yes I made each and every one of them. They are really quick to do.
Oh Blow I shouldn't have said that.

They are really really difficult and time consuming to make girls. Each one takes at least three days to make.

hahahahaha No way. They are speedy bags to make. Honest. :-)
My friend Di gave me the pattern. It is just a plastic carrier bag pattern thats all, nothing remotely technical about it. Couldn't do it if there were.

Hi Jan, I have one of those fold up-sip up bags somewhere and I need to either find it, or win one from You!! I would love to learn how to make them - is this a pattern of yours or one available out 'there'? What fun!!

Hi Shar,
Yep, I can chat for England!! hahaha

Hi Phyllis,
Heehee see above

hohoho Shar and Phyllis, see next message see what I mean!!

Hello there Barbara,
No the pattern is not mine, a friend sent it to me I believe she got it off the web somewhere, then I lost the pattern she sent me, so had to redo it. Story of my life, I lose so many things in my 'glory hole', anyway, I found that the way I redid it made it easier to make, so I was glad I had lost the original if you know what I mean.
Hope you find the pattern if not, I think !!>??!! it would be ok for me to send you mine, or I can ask my friend where she got it from. It is basically a plastic carrier bag you use at a pattern. :-)

Hiya Micki
Oh bless you my friend, the bags you make are FAR SUPERIOR to any I do, but you are now in the give away! That'll teach you. hahaha :-)

Hi Janet,

I just wanted to let you know that the foldaway shopping bag I won in your blog giveaway arrived on Friday from my daughter in UK.
What a neat idea! I love the bag and especially like the little tag.
Thank you so much for your kindness Janet. I feel very lucky to have something made by you :)
Best wishes,
Margaret
