JUST A FEW BEADS

I bought this lot above on Wednesday, yummy aren't they?

This box is for the 'bigger' beads I have.

WHITE with YELLOW and ORANGE, plus the threads for beading; I use NYMO

PINK with GREEN

BLUE with PURPLE

This is just to show you the sponge thing I put my beads on as I am beading, they seem to stay on it.

BLACK with BROWN plus sequins of various colours and shapes, and empty containers waiting for yet more beads.

There we are then, my bead collection for you to see. Following are the two Icicle dolls I am 'having a go' at. Noel told me I should post a pik of how they are going. OK boss!

The BACKS...
The FRONTS...

Will they do then Noel? Umming and ahhing about faces!!??!!

Re..first comment up there....Hmm! Only once before have I had to delete a comment. This one looked suspicious to me, I am sorry if you are OK. Maybe you will get back to me and post a proper comment, will be interesting to see.

Hi femin susan,
I have just popped along to see your Blog, or should I say BLOGS, you have three. Gracious how do you keep them all going. They are all wonderful, For everyones information, there is one that is beautiful poetry, the next is wonderful photo's of nature, and the third will make you smile or laugh out loud. Go see them and add them to your Blog for a smile on a rainy day. I think you mean my sewing by 'how do I cope' I love sewing, I have to do some everyday or I am miserable. I am a speedy sewer I guess, so that is how I get a lot done. Although the beading slows me down some. Lovely to meet you.

Hello Lynn,
My thoughts entirely although I am shocked by quite HOW MANY. hahaha mind you, now I am into these dolls, they will soon go down I bet. Thank you so much for the encouragement on the dolls, I've never made this sort before., but am enjoying doing them.

Hi Noel,
Never in a million years would I make you sound terrible, you are way too nice.

Thank you for the kind remarks about the dolls, I think I may try to get them finished this week as I want to start another one. Look what you have started. Maybe you are terrible after all!! hahaha lol :-)))) You are way too kind to me. I still don't know what to do about the faces, I try one and it looks grotesque, still searching. xx

Hi Tracey,
I do hope you are feeling better now. Hubby has a cold at the moment, gross!
Some of these beads were necklaces originally, the local WILKINSON store was selling their necklaces off cheap 99p each and my GD bought me three, I got loads of beads from dismantling them. I am also going to have a butchers in the charity shops, that could be a great source of beads on the cheap!!
Get well soon. :-)
